GAOS is delighted to announce its next major production:

Little Shop of Horrors, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics and a book by Howard Ashman, tells the story of nerdy Seymour and his love interest Audrey, who are trying to escape the Skid Row florist where they work with the help of a strange and unusual plant. The music, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, "Skid Row (Downtown)", "Somewhere That's Green", and "Suddenly, Seymour".

The show has been cast and rehearsals have started, but there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved, including helping create Audrey II, the plant and star of the show, taking charge of makeup, helping source props and much more. For more information on how to get involved, contact director Eric Richardson, production secretary Lena Blohm or stage manager David Wrigley.
