OVERVIEW
In the graveyard, Uncle Fester requests the Ancestors’ help. He explains that Wednesday has invited her new (normal) boyfriend, Lucas Beineke, and his parents, Mal and Alice, to dinner. As the Beinekes arrive, Wednesday and Lucas instruct their families to act normally but, from the beginning, tensions mount on both sides. Alice accidentally drinks a magic potion intended for Wednesday and chaos ensues. Much to Mal’s dismay Alice reveals her true nature as his sweet and meek wife becomes a fierce and sinister dragon. Fester, trying to be helpful, instructs the Ancestors to create a sudden storm, trapping everyone in the mansion. Wednesday fears that she and Lucas are too different, but they are soon reconciled. T hrough the help of Fester and the Ancestors, Mal learns to accept the new strong and independent Alice. Gomez professes his love for Morticia by purchasing two airline tickets to see the sewers of Paris. With the couples reunited, Pugsley admits to slipping the potion into Alice’s chalice, but is congratulated since it brought everyone together. Fester, wearing a rocket, tells everyone he’s off to the moon. The families are shocked as Lurch sings for the first time, just as a puff of dust is seen on the Moon – Fester has landed.
